Developed in collaboration with Andy Anderson, the Powell Peralta Nano-Cubic 97A Wheels reimagine the legendary Cubic and MiniCubic shapes for modern, all-terrain skateboarding. Poured from Powell’s groundbreaking Dragon Formula (DF) urethane in an optimized 97A hardness, these wheels deliver up to 20% higher rebound than traditional hard urethane, smoothing out rough asphalt and crusty street terrain while sliding as slick and predictably as 99A or 101A wheels.
The signature asymmetrical, offset shape is purpose-built to tackle varied obstacles. The outer edge features an extended, deep-dish lip that completely wraps around and recesses the axle nut—shielding hardware threads from curb impacts, expanding track width for stable coconut wheelies, and climbing up coping and walls without hanging up. Meanwhile, the steep inner lip leaves maximum truck hanger exposed to lock securely onto ledges, coping, and rails with immediate release.
