Built for heavy transition, crusty DIY spots, and aggressive slappy curb sessions, the Snot Wheel Co. Dead Dave Wide Boys 52mm 101a Clear Wheels deliver extreme surface coverage and rock-hard rolling speed. Designed in collaboration with Heroin Skateboards pro Dead Dave, these wheels utilize Snot’s ultra-hard 101a BT2 urethane formula poured in an icy translucent clear compound that provides rapid acceleration on smooth concrete and frictionless, screeching slides across rough coping and unpainted curbs.
The defining feature of the Wide Boys shape is its massive, squared-off footprint. Measuring 40.7mm in total width with an ultra-wide 31.0mm riding surface, it nearly doubles the contact patch of traditional street wheels. This flat, squared-shoulder profile provides maximum balance on landings, locks tenaciously into truck grinds without slipping out, and shields axle nuts from getting chewed up during heavy pinch grinds. At 52mm, the low diameter preserves lightning-fast pop and low truck clearance, offsetting wheel bite risks despite the enormous width.
